A great weekend for all the teams at Addiscombe as all the sides came up with some excellent victories.

The 1st XI beat Old Hamptonians by 4 wickets with a special mention to Andrew Poulton and Andrew Hurrion who hit 48 and 65 respectively to see the side to victory. An important first win of the season and hopefully the springboard.

The 2nd XI beat Old Emanuel convincingly and had wrapped up the win by 5pm! Bradley Rose scored 65 not out to seal a 9 wicket win chasing 118 and continue their fine start to the season.

The ACC 3rd XI came up with a fantastic win by 3 wickets at home to Purley. Rob Maguire was in devastating mood with a spell of 6.4-2-22-6 to set up victory, leaving Addiscombe just 81 to chase down.

Last, but by no means least, the 4th XI won brilliantly against Oxted and Limpsfield to chase down 225 with 5 overs to spare. Barry Dean was the main contributor with a superb 105 not out along with a fine 51 not out from Jack Pewter to see ACC home by 8 wickets.

And as if that wasn't enough the only side in action on Sunday beat Hamsey Green by 1 wicket in a thrilling game. Andrew Hurrion was the hero again with a beautiful 70 not out to guide the side home. Lewis Noble ably assisted with an excellent 53.

Well done to all the sides and we hope for another weekend of the same as ACC take on Southern Railway and Kenley (1st XI), Horsley and Send (2nd XI), Purley (3rd XI) and Streatham and Marlborough (4th XI). There are also fixtures on Sunday and on Bank Holiday Monday to look forward to.
